Disgusting how shallow the cable news talking heads are regarding Marco Rubio's mostly-excellent debate Saturday night.
Sorta like:
True point: "Rubio actually spoke about the importance of the Consitituion! Only one other candidate even mentioned it."
Shallow Talking Head: "That's not worth mentioning, did you hear him embarrass himself with that little repetitive script?"
True point: "Rubio gave a brilliant heartwarming explanation of
Conservatism. 1. Limited Government, 2. Free Enterprise, 3. Strong
National Defense. No one else even attempted to defend Conservatism as a
political view."
Shallow Talking Head: "That's not worth mentioning, did you hear him embarrass himself with that little repetitive script?"
True point: "Rubio had a thorough and detailed plan for combatting
ISIS, even in an informed smart back-and-forth with Marth Raddatz.
Shallow Talking Head: "That's not worth mentioning, did you hear him embarrass himself with that little repetitive script?"
True point: "Rubio defended the life of the unborn, stressing the
importance of all lives, a view he has always held, while Jeb made the
dumb statement that he (Jeb) is the MOST pro-life, yet accusing Rubio of
being TOO pro-life."
Shallow Talking Head: "That's not worth mentioning, did you hear him embarrass himself with that little repetitive script?"
True point: "Rubio spoke of the future for our children, that they
might inherit a great country. While Christie, for example blustered in
attack mode because he's 3% in the polls."
Shallow Talking Head: "That's not worth mentioning, did you hear him embarrass himself with that little repetitive script?"
True point: "Rubio eloquently spoke of the importance of bringing the
Republican Party together to beat Hillary, pointing out why she was not
qualified to be President. No one else had that vision."
Shallow Talking Head: "That's not worth mentioning, did you hear him embarrass himself with that little repetitive script?"
You get the idea. And the shallow talking heads are rewarding
lightweight Chris Christie for his own shallow bullying. -- Yes, I get
the oxymoron of calling Chris a lightweight.:)
